Marketing in the 1980s: Messages were put across by way of cartoons and slogans.

The plot is simple: William Scrooge saves money first. But then the installation of a rigid stem extension costs him dearly. “Oh damn! Too short!”

Peter Smart has bought the patented VAG Telescopic Stem Extension. And gained an insight that is still valid today: “Time is money.”
